About the restaurant

Indulge in the rich flavors of Hokkaido crab.
Our chefs are highly skilled and knowledgeable when it comes to making local cuisine with seasonal fresh ingredients of Hokkaido. They will also arrange the tailor-made cuisine according to guests' requests.
Suginome is situated inside of a stone kura, made of stately Sapporo soft stone. The building emanates a sense of history typical of Hokkaido, where guests can enjoy a leisurely meal in different private rooms with nostalgic atmosphere.

Interior and concept

One of the private rooms features a traditional Ainu concept known as “Chise” (for 3–4 guests). Surrounded by the warmth of wood, this space offers a glimpse into the rich Ainu culture of Hokkaido.
Another option is a traditional Japanese-style room with an irori hearth set into the floor (for 6–12 guests), which feels like visiting a traditional home in Japan's countryside.

Up to 9 days before: Free of charge

8 to 3 days before: 20% cancellation fee

2 days before: 50% cancellation fee

The day before or same day: 100％ cancellation fee

Reservation process

  • 1. Please fill out the “Reservation Form” to make a reservation.
  • 2. If there is any uncertainty regarding the details of the reservation, we will send an email to confirm the information.
  • 3. We will confirm with restaurants or other facilities whether the reservation can be made.
  • 4. Once the reservation is confirmed, a link for credit card payment will be sent by email. (The payment link will expire after 36 hours.)
  • 5. Payment will be settled online via credit card.
  • 6. The voucher will be sent by email once the payment has been processed.
  • 7. On the scheduled day, kindly show your voucher at the facility.
