About the restaurant

Enjoy the true essence of Japanese cuisine. We stock fresh ingredients from Hokkaido and all over Japan. We offer the best sushi, prepared with careful and painstaking care using Edomae techniques such as boiling, grilling, steaming, pickling, and marinating.
Our sushi chef Tsutomu Shimamiya was awarded the Contemporary Master Craftsman Award and Medal with Yellow Ribbon from the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare.

Sushizen Main Store is located in a quiet residential area near Hokkaido Shrine. We have three counters, a private room, and a large hall, each with a relaxed atmosphere, where you can enjoy seasonal dishes from all over Japan.

Reservation process

  • 1. Please fill out the “Reservation Form” to make a reservation.
  • 2. If there is any uncertainty regarding the details of the reservation, we will send an email to confirm the information.
  • 3. We will confirm with restaurants or other facilities whether the reservation can be made.
  • 4. Once the reservation is confirmed, a link for credit card payment will be sent by email. (The payment link will expire after 36 hours.)
  • 5. Payment will be settled online via credit card.
  • 6. The voucher will be sent by email once the payment has been processed.
  • 7. On the scheduled day, kindly show your voucher at the facility.
