About the course
Enjoy fugu in central Sapporo! The course begins with the restaurant's specialty, a tomato salad with sanbaizu dressing, and concludes with a comforting zosui, made from the rice cooked in the remaining hot pot broth. The fugu is flown straight from Shimonoseki for guaranteed freshness.
A message from the restaurant
Established in 1962, our resturant has been dedicated to offer casual Japanese Cuisine using mainly Hokkaido ingredients.
Our menu offers fresh seasonal vegetables, stewed or salt-grilled Kinki rockfish, horsehair crab, scallop and sea urchin sashimi, and Wagyu beef steaks. In winter guests can also enjoy our rare fugu dishes.
The restaurant has welcomed a growing number of international guests in recent years.

Interior and concept
Restaurant atmosphere
The knotless Japanese cypress counter, has been in use for over 50 years, and remains the centerpiece of the restaurant. Our Japanese-style rooms feature an authentic traditional interior style with dugout seats. They are specifically designed for sound discretion, preventing loud conversations from carrying to other areas. The interior is consistently decorated with seasonal flower arrangements, complemented by Japanese screens and scrolls that create an authentic Japanese atmosphere.

・This course is served only during the winter season, from November to March.
・Content is subject to change with season and availability.
・Pictures show meal for 2 persons.
・If salt-grilled milt is not available, we will make a different dish using the milt.
・A minimum order for 2 persons is necessary.
・Smoking and non-smoking areas are predefined. Please make sure that to smoke in designated areas only.
・Dress code: Smart casual, we kindly ask you to refrain from wearing hats, rubber boots, and workwear in the restaurant.
Cancellation policy
Up to 6 days before: Free of charge
5 to 3 days before: 20% cancellation fee
Up to 2 days before: 50% cancellation fee
The day before or same day: 100% cancellation fee
Reservation Form
Reservation process
- 1. Please fill out the “Reservation Form” to make a reservation.
- 2. If there is any uncertainty regarding the details of the reservation, we will send an email to confirm the information.
- 3. We will confirm with restaurants or other facilities whether the reservation can be made.
- 4. Once the reservation is confirmed, a link for credit card payment will be sent by email. (The payment link will expire after 36 hours.)
- 5. Payment will be settled online via credit card.
- 6. The voucher will be sent by email once the payment has been processed.
- 7. On the scheduled day, kindly show your voucher at the facility.
